The Sargent Gallery represents contemporary Artists who share our deep commitment to Environmental Protection, with a special focus on Endangered Species. Through curated exhibits and other Art Events, Sargent Gallery feature a Nonprofits in order to promote their organization and mission. Environmental issues and policy are often complex, and often under assault. The power of the visual arts to inform how science informs environmental policy is one way to educate people about vital issues that they can impact in large and small ways. By supporting the Gallery, the Artists and the Nonprofits we work with, you are can make an impact in large and small ways, especially at this challenging time.

We can email artists info and images of available work at your request, as well as information about the nonprofits we support.

Some of the environmental orgs we work with include the Center for Biological Diversity, BioDiversityWorks of Martha’s Vineyard, the Martha’s Vineyard Shellfish Group, the Jane Goodall Institute, among others.
